Allied Universal in Orovada, NV is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Driver. In this full-time role you will drive to client sites, perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver reliable customer service to industrial locations.

You must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, pass a background check and drug screen, and be able to work day and night shifts including weekends. Allied Universal emphasizes agility, reliability, teamwork and integrity.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Orovada, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the opportunity to respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly with team members and visitors, and represent Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, work areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting access-related issues in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
