Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Bloomington, IL. This full-time, driving-based position requires patrolling commercial real estate sites, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering excellent customer service to tenants and visitors.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver in Bloomington, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and authorized entry procedures in accordance with site policies; document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately.
• Maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity while providing courteous assistance and directions to occupants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
