Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Credential Enrollment) in Fredericksburg, VA. You will safeguard clients, monitor entry points, and manage visitor/badge access in a healthcare setting while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized access and identify security concerns.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and emergency responders, and document observations and actions taken.

Pay Rate: $18.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 05:45 AM - 06:15 PM
• Sun: 05:45 AM - 06:15 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as applicable, and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entrances, restricted areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel and emergency responders, and document observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
