Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and security-related systems in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
• Support the protection of critical infrastructure and confidential operations by following established protocols for restricted areas, deliveries, escorts, and contractor access.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Badge Verification in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a technology data center location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm activity, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
