First Coast Security in Jacksonville, FL is seeking Security Officers to provide professional security services for client properties and personnel. Responsibilities include access control, monitoring entrances, patrolling, and reporting incidents to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements include 18+ years of age, Florida Unarmed Guard Card, and strong English communication and reporting skills. Candidates should be reliable, able to stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must possess a Florida Unarmed Guard Card.
• Must fluently speak, read, and comprehend English and compose coherent written reports in English.
• Must maintain all required licenses, permits, and certifications.
• Must successfully pass required background and controlled-substance screenings.
• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facilities through established admittance and screening procedures.
• Assist authorized visitors and employees with gaining entry to the facility.
• Monitor entrances, exits, parking areas, and the movement of people and vehicles.
• Prevent unauthorized or unlawful entry and respond appropriately to disturbances.
• Conduct foot patrols throughout assigned areas.
• Prepare accurate security logs and incident reports.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents according to established procedures.
• Perform other security-related duties as required for the assigned post.
