Job summary

Allied Universal is looking for a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Fontana, CA to safeguard government and other clients. You will monitor and deter incidents, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism and care.

You will report observations, document activities accurately, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork and reliability. This is a full-time role with daytime and overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Provide courteous customer service to visitors and staff while following site procedures (≤140 chars).
• Carry out patrols and adhere to security protocols to deter incidents.
• Effectively report observations and incidents using approved formats.
• Demonstrate clear communication with colleagues and clients.
• Work collaboratively with the team to maintain a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government human services location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entrances, and perimeter boundaries, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization when required, and assist with directing individuals to appropriate public service areas.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Fontana, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government human services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, staff, and community members with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, report observations, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and reliable service.

Pay Rate: $21.49 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
