Allied Universal in Rochester, NY is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for a Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol role. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and provide exceptional customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace and defense site.

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is a plus.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Guard Card or license preferred where applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following established protocols; contact emergency services and/or site leadership as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Access Patrol in Rochester, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist with access control, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
