Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments such as retail stores, airports, and other facilities in the Deer Park, TX area. You will read environments, anticipate risk, and act to protect people and property throughout your shift.

The role requires the ability to stand and walk for long periods, a valid driver’s license, and at least 1 year of security experience.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must pass an extensive screening process
• Stand and walk for the entire shift
• Ability to read environment and anticipate risk
• First aid certification is an asset
• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have a valid TWIC card
• Must be 21 or older
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience
• Must pass 10-year background and driving screening
• Must past Reid or equivalent test
• Must have an active hard copy security license

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
• Gate access control

• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset

• Must have a valid TWIC Card (Hard copy in hand, not expired)
• Must be 21 or Older
• Must have at least 1 year of security experience or similar
• Must pass 10-year background and driving screening
• Must past Reid or equivalent test
• Must have an active hard copy security license
