Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Entry Processing in Charlestown, MA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with optional extra shifts to earn more, and a pay rate of $22.22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background inquiry will be conducted in line with laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Monitor and control access to the facility and verify authorized personnel, visitors, contractors.
• Maintain visitor and vehicle entry records and issue/collect access credentials.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner following site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and report activity.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time TWIC Entry Processing in Charlestown, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.22 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor and control access to the facility, including verifying authorized personnel, visitors, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, issue and collect access credentials as directed, and report access‑related discrepancies to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, including entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
