You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate: $20.95 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control access to port and logistics areas by verifying credentials, screening visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel, and documenting entry and exit activity.
• Operate access-control systems, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, issue and collect credentials as directed, and report discrepancies through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
