As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Customer Service Screening in Philadelphia, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSat05:00 PM - 09:00 PMSun05:00 PM - 09:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide courteous customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site‑specific screening procedures, security‑related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals entering the healthcare location in accordance with established access, visitor management, and prohibited‑item protocols.
• Verify visitor authorization and direct patients and visitors to appropriate entrances, departments, or registration areas.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters through established channels.
• Maintain accurate screening and visitor records and communicate relevant security‑related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
