Job summary

DSI Security Services, based in Marengo, OH, is seeking a reliable Security Officer for a part-time role. The position focuses on maintaining a safe environment while delivering professional customer service to visitors and staff in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will patrol, respond to alarms, issue reports, and uphold company policies. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday 12pm–8pm with overtime as needed, and some evenings, weekends, or holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to stay alert and attentive during shifts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work part-time including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Officer to join our team in Marengo, OHThe ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment while providing excellent customer service to all visitors and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
• Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring safety and security protocols are followed.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors.
• Maintain accurate and detailed reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Assist in enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency personnel when necessary.
