Afternoons/Nights (United States of America)The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of all people and property in and around the healthcare facility. They remain aware of their surrounding at all times and make periodic rounding of property and facility. Helps maintain and control access to facility. Responds to emergency situations in order to provide assistance to the party in need.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
Required Minimum Education:
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Education:
Vocational Technical Degree
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS (must be non-expired/active unless otherwise stated):
Required: BLS Certification and NAPPI training within first 6 months of hire; Annual AED Competency
Preferred: IAHSS Basic Security Certification (or equivalent)
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Computer skills;
