As a Security Officer - Telecom Patrol in Jessup, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a tech-focused environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site. You will be part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always acting with integrity and putting people first. This role does not require driving or carrying a weapon.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day	Time
Thur	03:00 PM - 07:00 PM
Fri	03:00 PM - 07:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence and observing for unusual behavior.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activities according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control and verify identification of individuals entering the premises as required.
• Support emergency response activities and coordinate with local authorities or site management when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Maryland Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
