Job summary

Justice Grown is seeking a Lead Security Officer to supervise security operations across our facilities and transportation. You will oversee patrols, surveillance, incidents, and staff, working with leadership to maintain a safe and compliant environment.

This role requires flexibility across all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication are essential to protecting people and assets in a fast-paced cannabis operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check under cannabis regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations.
• Flexibility to support operational and scheduling needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and secure company facilities and access points
• Monitor surveillance systems and investigate irregular activity
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergency situations
• Complete detailed incident reporting and documentation
• Assist with secure transportation and compliance procedures
• Collaborate with leadership, Human Resources, and local authorities when necessary
• Train and mentor Security Officers on best practices and procedures
• Help maintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented environment
