Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Security Officer for the T-Mobile Arena team. The role includes patrolling property areas, monitoring alarms and CCTV, and delivering excellent service to guests and colleagues.

You will respond to emergencies, assist with gaming transactions, and document activities and irregularities. Ideal candidates hold a high school diploma or GED, with 1+ year experience in customer service or security, and must be able to work on-call/part-time.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred.
• Must be able to work on-call/part-time.
• Mandatory training includes legal, defensive tactics, first aid, CPR/AED.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor all areas of the property, including exterior, by bicycle or vehicle.
• Monitor alarm systems and surveillance cameras.
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve complaints involving guests and employees.
• Act as a first responder in emergency situations.
• Perform gaming drops/transactions and related procedures.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Relay information to appropriate personnel via phone or radio.
• Render first aid to injured persons and report injuries per protocol.
• Secure the scene and assist evacuations when needed.

This position requires specialized training and physical conditioning.
