Job Description

Position: Security Officer at Financial Center in Pittsburgh (Southside)
Type: Full Time
Pay: $17.00 / Hour
Schedule: 8:45AM-5:15PM Monday-Friday and 8:45AM-1:15PM Saturday
Requirements: Frequent walking/standing (indoor/outdoor), moderate technological use. Uniforms and equipment provided, company-paid training, and career progression opportunities.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and execute safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency responses.
• Respond calmly and effectively to incidents and critical situations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises, with environments varying by client site.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Background check and drug screening required, in accordance with laws.
• State/local licensing requirements may apply; a valid driver’s license required for driving roles.
