Job summary

TriCorps is seeking professional and motivated Security Officers to join our team in Washington, D.C. Candidates must hold a valid DC Security Officer license, possess a Driver’s License, and maintain current CPR certification.

The role involves patrolling, assisting visitors and staff, and enforcing security policies to protect people and property. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor facilities and designated areas to detect and deter irregular or unusual activity.
• Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Secure premises by patrolling property and maintaining visibility to deter unauthorized activity.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings at all times.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and disturbances, maintaining composure in high-stress situations.
• Observe, report, and prevent incidents by maintaining a consistent security presence.
• Enforce site rules, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety of all personnel and property.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent TriCorps’ values of professionalism and integrity.
• Support management and client directives to maintain consistent, high-quality service.
