Job summary

Allied Universal’s Site Supervisor role oversees security operations at a client site, managing staffing, scheduling and training to ensure a safe environment. The position requires strong leadership, incident response skills, and the ability to maintain contract compliance while coordinating with the on-site manager.

Responsibilities include hiring/training staff, monitoring performance, conducting briefings, handling incident responses, and ensuring records and post orders are up-to-date.

Qualifications

  • Training and supervision experience in security is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain minimal overtime per AUS guidelines.
  • Monitor quality of service and contract compliance through inspections.
  • Perform payroll review, incident reports and security surveys.
  • Recommend personnel actions and respond to client requests.
  • Provide direction and disciplinary actions to subordinates.
  • Suggest productivity improvements and updates to post orders.

Allied Universal® is hiring a Site Supervisor. The general purpose and function of the Site Supervisor encompasses the professional operation, administration, profitability, and quality assurance of uniformed services for a client’s site.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

8am -4Pm

Monday through Friday

Security Experience - 5+ Years (C113)

  • The Security Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the security operations at a designated location. This role involves ensuring a safe and secure environment for visitors and employees, monitoring security systems, and responding to security incidents.
  • A security site supervisor manages a team of security personnel to ensure a safe environment and protect people and resources. Their responsibilities include:
  • Hiring and training
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training security staff, including new hires and current staff. Training topics may include workplace searches, drug and alcohol procedures, and safety and security topics.
  • Scheduling
  • Overseeing the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff.
  • Performance monitoring
  • Monitoring performance and conducting daily briefings. This may include accompanying guards on patrols to assess their performance and verify adherence to security rules.
  • Incident response
  • Responding to incidents, monitoring CCTV and security systems, and performing regular patrols to identify potential breaches.
  • Liaison
  • Liaising with the on-site manager and staff to provide advice and receive feedback.
  • Policies and procedures
  • Establishing and carrying out policies and procedures required by the organization.
  • Record keeping
  • Keeping diligent records to document all security-related instances that occur at their place of employment.
  • Training programs
  • Working with security managers to create training programs so that all security guards can have the knowledge to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Continuous training
  • Giving continuous training for current equipment or instructing employees on how to use newly adopted technology
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee that all aspects of the security function on-site are performed in a diligent manner (staffing, scheduling, and on-site training all Allied Universal®. personnel assigned to his/her site)
  • Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met
  • Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by AUS
  • Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift
  • Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders)
  • Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision.
  • Respond to client requests
  • Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders
  • Provide direction and instruction to subordinates in regard to the performance of their duties
  • Disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
  • Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management
  • Make recommendations for physical security surveys and post orders
  • Make recommendations concerning disciplinary action/commendation decisions pertaining to security personnel
QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
  • Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Service in the active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard
    • Service in Auxiliary Police or Police Cadets
    • Minimum of one year verifiable and successful supervisory experience in security-related industry
    • Associate's degree or higher in any discipline
  • Be at least 18 years of age, or higher if required by the state (21 years, if armed)
  • Be able to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or console monitors
