Job summary

Allied Universal in Pharr, TX is seeking a Security Officer Site Patrol to safeguard clients across multiple facilities. As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, and respond professionally to site needs, delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role offers a pay rate of $12.00 per hour, daytime and overnight shifts, and a commitment to integrity, teamwork, and community protection.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as allowed by law.
• Subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and report/escalate as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and maintenance needs.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of people and vehicles according to access-control procedures.
• Complete patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documents; communicate relevant information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the manufacturing facility, warehouse areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe the movement of personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Complete accurate patrol logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
