Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Officer Site Operations in Fremont, CA. You will monitor and safeguard client sites, provide excellent customer service, and document activities using our technology.

The role supports an automotive location with overnight hours. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $22.52 per hour and a focus on access control, incident response, and proactive patrols.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Background check required by law.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen where permitted by law.
• As a condition of employment, licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout automotive manufacturing, warehouse, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific access control procedures.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicating relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

As a Security Officer supporting an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist with access control and badge processes. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use technology to document activities. • Mon: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Sun: 11:00 PM - 07:30 AM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
