Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Site Monitoring at our Northampton, PA location. This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to engage with clients while maintaining a safe environment.

You will monitor access points, patrol areas, respond to alarms and incidents, and provide courteous, professional service to employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor access points, vehicle traffic, and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, trailers, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
