Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution following site procedures and emergency plans.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas including entrances, parking, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report suspicious activity and hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and timely.

As a Security Officer - Site Flex Converge in Phoenix, AZ, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $22.62 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Sat: 08:45 AM - 02:15 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site‑specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access‑control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security‑related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Have access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
