Security Officer Front Desk Driver – Providence, RI – Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.96 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTime:
Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor front desk activity, manage visitor check‑in and access protocols, and communicate with staff regarding arrivals, deliveries, and/or routine requests.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report details according to site procedures.
• Answer phones, provide directions, and support front desk operations while maintaining awareness of security‑related concerns and/or access issues.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and visitor information accurately, and help deter unauthorized access through attentive front desk presence and policy adherence.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
