Job Description

As a Security Officer - Shopping Patrol - Full Time in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more .

As an Unarmed patrol officer in a retail or mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and communicating clearly with visitors and staff. You will contribute to a positive environment by acting with integrity, working as part of a team, and putting people first.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist customers and staff as needed.
• Document and report any suspicious activity, incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when required.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
