Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Officer in Shippingport, PA for a part-time schedule. This position covers 1:00 PM–9:00 PM on Saturdays with additional hours as needed, serving clients across industries and ensuring safety and access control at client sites.

Responsibilities include carrying out safety procedures, responding to incidents calmly, and conducting regular patrols of the premises.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal
• Driver's license required for driving positions only

Part-Time - $17.00 / Hour

1:00PM-9:00PM Saturday - Additional Hours Available!

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities


• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner


• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
