Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking a Guard for a Shipping Company in Cheektowaga, NY.

Starting pay is $17.25 an hour with DailyPay available.

Full-time shifts are available.

Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients across various industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, and Government.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by implementing safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with working environments varying by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Undergo a background check as per federal, state, and local laws. Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws.
• Pass a drug screening, as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and locality and may be required before employment. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
