Positions allocated to this class are non-peace officer positions assigned to provide security in and around County facilities and properties of public agencies contracting Sheriff Department security services. Incumbents must distinguish between circumstances in which counseling, admonition, and explanation will serve to maintain a peaceful environment or where the intervention of law enforcement personnel is necessary.
Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
Graduation from high school or evidence of equivalent high school proficiency.
A valid California class C driver license is required.

The examination will consist of a computer-based multiple-choice test weighted 100%. You must achieve a passing score of 70% or higher to be placed on the eligible register.
