Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer with active DoD TS-SCI clearance for an on-site patrol role in Herndon, VA. The position requires 2+ years of security experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• A drug screen may be required.

• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of corporate offices, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and building entry procedures while assisting with the implementation of site-specific access requirements.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD TS-SCI clearance.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
