Job summary

Allied Universal in Manassas, VA is seeking an Armed Security Guard with DoD Secret Clearance to protect our technology and telecommunications locations. You will patrol, monitor access, deter incidents and respond to security concerns with professional customer service.

This full-time role requires an armed guard card, DoD clearance, and compliance with site policies. You will work daytime and overnight shifts and join a team dedicated to safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

As a Security Guard Armed DoD Secret Security Clearance Patrol Response in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports and documentation for patrols, incidents, and security-related activities while following applicable armed-post procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
