Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Security Communications in Breinigsville, PA. You will monitor and patrol a logistics and distribution location, providing professional customer service and enforcing site policies.

This full-time role pays $18.44 per hour and requires general duties including access control, incident reporting, and teamwork with site leadership.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery traffic per site-specific procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
