Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, invites you to Moorestown, NJ for a Security Officer role with unarmed patrol and driver communications. This full-time position pays $19.36 per hour and includes practical shifts across the week.

You’ll provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors, monitor access points, respond to incidents, conduct patrols, and complete incident reports, all while upholding site policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• State/city security license preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen per law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain entry/exit records per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and promptly communicate observations to site contacts or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and perimeter to identify hazards and policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive operational and billing-related information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
