Qualifications

As a Screener in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a welcoming, orderly environment by screening visitors, monitoring access points, and communicating professionally with employees and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help identify and report security-related concerns. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen individuals and authorized items entering the technology and media location using established access control and screening processes; report prohibited items, irregularities, and policy concerns to site leadership.
• Verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation before permitting access to designated areas, following established procedures for denied entry or escalated concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and incident details through required reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
