Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas, parking areas, and perimeters.

As a Security Officer Screening Operationsin Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure, welcoming environment by screening individuals and materials, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting smooth operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorizations, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, the business, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
