Job summary

Allied Universal in Hutchins, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening to safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. You will screen people, packages, and vehicles, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents following site procedures.

You will work a daytime schedule with multiple shifts; a high school diploma is required and background/drug screenings will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with site procedures and access-control requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Personnel Screening in Hutchins, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening people, packages, and/or materials in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, document security-related activity, and use computer or tablet tools as needed. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
