Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Screener at our Ladson, SC logistics site. You will monitor access points, screen personnel and visitors, and report security concerns to keep the site secure.

Qualifications

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with location requirements and established procedures.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials, shipping documentation, and/or delivery information as applicable.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, employee entrances, parking areas, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Pay Rate: $16.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
