Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, interacting with the public, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $15.97 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day TimeWed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or potential threats to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information as required.
• Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions that involve driving in the job state.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
