Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer for Conway, SC. This full-time position requires 21+ years old, a HS diploma or equivalent, and 6+ months of armed security or related experience. You will protect clients across industries, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and uphold safety procedures.

Starting pay is $18.05 per hour. Training, uniforms, and licensing support are provided. Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; days include Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Qualifications

• Requires 6+ months armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Must provide HS Diploma/GED or DD214.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by implementing safety and security procedures and emergency response when needed.
• Respond to incidents calmly and solve problems quickly.
• Conduct regular patrols and monitor perimeters as required by each client site.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universalwill consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
