Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer in Conway, SC to safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education and government. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance on site, and adherence to site policies.

Qualified candidates possess a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years of verifiable experience) and at least 6 months of armed security or law enforcement/military background.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

• Employment Type: Full Time
• Starting Base Pay: $18.05 per hour
• Workdays Available: Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Available Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

• Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED/DD214
• 6 Months+ Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience
• DD214 with Honorable Discharge OR Associates Degree/60 College Credits OR Police Academy Certificate OR Corrections Academy Certificate
• Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent
• Security Experience - +1 Years
