Job summary

Allied Universal®, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Security Officer RSOC in Austin, TX. You will serve clients across technology-focused sites, monitor access control, coordinate communications, and respond to security-related needs using our dispatch tools. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.

Pay rate is $25.00 per hour. Schedule options include DayTime and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screening may be required.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required only for driving positions.

As a Security Officer RSOC Part Timein Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Dispatch Security Professional at a leading technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, support access control, and help respond to security-related needs. Using computer-based systems, you will maintain clear records, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor incoming calls, alarms, radio traffic, and electronic communications; dispatch appropriate personnel and/or resources according to established procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift activity reports, escalating security-related concerns to site leadership and/or emergency services as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating communications among responders and relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor site access and camera systems as assigned, report unusual activity, and support regular and random patrol operations around the business and perimeter.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
