Allied Universal in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a part-time Security Officer Roving Driver to safeguard client sites across technology, media, and telecom locations. You will perform unarmed patrols by vehicle and on foot, deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

This role requires reliability, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work Mon and Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; report irregularities, access concerns, and maintenance issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
