Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Subject to drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public at government facilities while following site procedures and security protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and coordinate with appropriate personnel and emergency responders.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security activities; relay information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Pay Rate: $16.43 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorizations as required, and report unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
