Job summary

Prosegur in Orlando is seeking a Security Officer for retail operations on a temporary/seasonal basis. You will provide a courteous, knowledgeable presence, assist customers, and deter theft through proactive engagement.

You will observe checkout procedures, communicate concerns to store management, and work closely with supervisors to meet store security and service goals. Prior customer service experience is preferred; valid D-License and unarmed security license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Unarmed Security License is required.
• D-License is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Provides timely, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers.

• Provides an effective deterrent to theft through customer engagement and a professional and knowledgeable presence.
• Observes accurate checkout procedures for customers and Associates.
• Communicates theft-related concerns to Store Management and Direct Supervisor
• Maintains an effective partnership with the clint and Direct Supervisor to accomplish work assignments and overall goals and objectives in relation to the stores SOP’S.
• Coordinates and completes theft-related activities in partnership with Store Management and your Direct Supervisor.
• Promotes a culture of honesty and integrity; maintains confidentiality.
• Promotes safety awareness and supports maintenance of a risk-free environment.
• Follows through on commitments; accomplishes goals with minimum supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
