Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to mall visitors, tenants, and staff by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious conditions or hazards per site procedures.
• Complete incident reports and patrol logs while maintaining a professional retail presence.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.94 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Fri 06:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to mall visitors, tenants, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the shopping center, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Complete required incident reports, patrol logs, and other documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
