Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in New York, NY to provide reliable front desk and access-control support at a residential building. Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access‑control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor the front desk area, greet and screen visitors, verify authorization, and maintain visitor logs in accordance with residential property policies.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed.
• Maintain awareness of building entry points, deliveries, and lobby activity to help deter unauthorized access and support a welcoming residential environment.
• Communicate professionally with residents, property management, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership while completing required reports and documentation.

As a Security Officer Residential Building Part Time Front Desk Check In in New York, NY, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.30 - $21.30 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
