Job Description

As a Security Officer - Residential Front Desk in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .

As a Front Desk professional in a residential location, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, greeting residents and visitors, and assisting with security-related inquiries. Your presence at the front desk helps to deter incidents and promotes a welcoming atmosphere. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with residents and guests, and support a culture of integrity and teamwork. This role requires comfort with using computers or tablets and a commitment to putting people first in all interactions.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for residential locations.
• Monitor access to the building, verifying the identity of visitors and assisting with entry procedures as needed.
• Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
• Communicate with property management and emergency services when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities.
• Assist residents and guests with inquiries and provide information about building policies and amenities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a valid Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Texas Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Current certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or have 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
