Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Thur 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
• Fri 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM
• Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM
• Sun 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and public-sector personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and maintain required logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
