Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Reception Technology Coordinator in El Segundo, CA. You will staff the front desk, greet visitors, verify IDs, issue credentials, and monitor access to the property while delivering exceptional customer service.

This full-time role operates on a daytime schedule with specific shifts, and you will respond to incidents calmly, document security activity, and coordinate with building personnel as part of Allied Universal's professional, safety‑minded

Qualifications

• Guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Staff the front desk and manage visitor reception, including greeting guests, verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate entry records.
• Monitor access to the property, communicate with authorized personnel regarding visitor arrivals, and assist with directing guests to appropriate offices or building areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner and promptly notify appropriate building contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide general building information, and document security-related activity in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
