Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Reception Services Coordinator in Santa Monica, CA. This full-time role pays $21.17 per hour and follows a 4-evening shift pattern (Mon–Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) at a commercial real estate site.

You will greet visitors, verify access, and uphold security protocols while delivering exceptional tenant and vendor service. Ideal candidates bring customer service experience and a high school diploma, with background checks and drug screening as required.

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while following site-specific security procedures.
• Greet visitors, verify ID, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records for visitors, contractors, and deliveries.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and communications; report incidents per procedures.
• Respond to incidents and tenant requests calmly and professionally; contact appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence and assist with directions and building information.

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity and security-related concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence, provide directions and general building information, and support a welcoming environment for all occupants and guests.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
