Allied Universal, Omaha, NE, is seeking a Security Officer Reception Coordination at a logistics and distribution site. You will greet visitors, manage access, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service while supporting security operations.

This full-time front desk role requires 6 months security experience, a high school diploma, and comfort with computers. You will work early morning shifts, with a pay rate of $18 per hour, and opportunities for training and career

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, employees, drivers, and vendors at a logistics and distribution location following site procedures and security policies.
• Monitor front desk access, verify credentials, issue badges, and maintain entry records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, receive deliveries, and relay visitor information to site personnel.
• Observe front-desk activity and report suspicious behavior, incidents, or maintenance concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and engage appropriate contacts or emergency services when needed.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access at the front desk, verify credentials and visitor information, issue appropriate badges or passes, and maintain accurate entry records.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries, receive deliveries, and communicate visitor arrivals or operational concerns to appropriate site personnel.
• Observe front-desk activity and report suspicious activity, policy violations, incidents, and/or maintenance concerns according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
